Sean Carswell is an assistant professor of writing and literature at California State University Channel Islands. He has published peer-reviewed articles on Thomas Pynchon, ukuleles, and punk rock, among other things. He is the author of Occupy Pynchon: Politics after Gravity’s Rainbow (University of Georgia Press, 2017).
