I have been working at the Perth campus of the University of Highlands and Islands for the last 15 years. I teach twentieth century history and on the Literature Degree here – apocalyptic fiction; modernism and popular culture; and postmodernism and war. I have published on British spy fiction, Thomas Pynchon and spy fiction and on Cold War cinema.
