Miriam Fernández Santiago completed her PhD in 2003. She is the author of The (Il)logics of Postmodern Humor (2003) and The Voice and The Void (2005). Her main research interests include Critical Theory, Literary Criticism, (Inter)cultural Studies, Postmodern Literature and (recently) Posthuman Theory, Feminist Studies, Trauma Studies and Ecocriticism. She is currently teaching English and American literatures and cultures in the University of Granada (Spain).
