Bénédicte Chorier-Fryd

Bénédicte Chorier-Fryd is associate professor at the University of Poitiers, France, where she teaches American literature and literary translation. She has published mostly on contemporary fiction, notably on Thomas Pynchon and Fanny Howe (with a focus on the interplay of poetic schemes and narrative), and translated Walker Percy and Claude Lévi-Strauss. She is co-editor, with Gilles Chamerois, of Thomas Pynchon, Montpellier : Presses universitaires de la Méditerranée (Profils américains), 2014. She is co-organiser of Pynchon's New Worlds
