Dr. Xavier Marcó del Pont has taught courses on American literature, critical theory, and reform literature at Royal Holloway, University of London. His doctoral thesis examined narrative structure in Thomas Pynchon’s oeuvre. He is currently at work on a book on the representation of art, aesthetics, and the avant-garde in Don DeLillo’s body of work, a project for which he was awarded research fellowships at both the Rothermere American Institute, at the University of Oxford, and the Harry Ransom Center, at the University of Texas at Austin.
