Eric Sandberg is a University Lecturer and Docent in Literature in the Department of English Philology at the University of Oulu, Finland. His research interests range from modernism to the twenty-first century novel. His monograph on Virginia Woolf was published in 2014, and he is currently editing two collections of essays, one on crime fiction, the other on adaptations and cultural prestige. He is the lead researcher on a new project on nostalgia in contemporary culture funded by the Joint Committee for Nordic research councils in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
