Simon de Bourcier

Dr Simon de Bourcier is the author of Pynchon and Relativity, published by Bloomsbury in 2012. His scholarly publications include articles on David Foster Wallace and Neal Stephenson as well as Thomas Pynchon. He is currently writing contributions for Pynchon in Context, forthcoming from Cambridge University Press, and for an edited collection on Pynchon, sex and gender. He is one of the editors of Orbit: A Journal of American Literature. At the time of writing his next child is due to be born on Thomas Pynchon’s birthday, but so far Mrs de Bourcier is vetoing the name Ruggles (for either boy or girl).
